Frank L Croston.: I wondered where I took it from myself ! I think it would be Whiteless pike, but don't quote me...smile

Stark and beautiful! I love the softness which is hard to get with the contrast needed for b&w.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Beth, much appreciated.

You frequently extend my understanding of the natural beauty of your little island, Frank...as you have done here.
Frank L Croston.: Happy to do so Ray, thank you.

This gives me a new perspective on the UK. I never think of this kind of terrain ...very beautiful with the undulating mts.
Frank L Croston.: Its one of the best parts Bonnie, ( I think the best ) its a stunning area, this is just a small part of it.Thank you.
Exquisitely presented to us, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much Ginnie.

As I have remarked to you before, when I get the chance I am going walking in the Lake District. Won't be doing the sort of walking you traditionally do, but enough to get a real taste
Frank L Croston.: I hope you do Elisabeth. Let me know and I can tell you about some fine walks that I'm sure you will enjoy.

Oooooooooh, that view is so beautiful, Frank. That road makes the picture for me.
Again a likey to me.
Frank L Croston.: The road gives it some scale Astrid, thanks very much.
Magnifique !!!
Frank L Croston.: Many thanks Claudine.
A glorious b&w landscape Frank.

I can imagine the smell of the clean air Frank. I trust that you are both taking precautions. Socially I mean.
Frank L Croston.: It was a great day Andrew. Yes we are, Elizabeth is still working, so far... The rest of the time we only go out for essentials.
Wow, that's a beautiful image, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much Martin.
That is a beautiful picture Frank, the B.& W. style really works well. Sadly we have decided to cancel our Lake District holiday later this year, indeed the coach company tell me that at the moment they are holding back from making any payments to the hotel etc. so perhaps it might be cancelled anyway.
Frank L Croston.: Thats a shame Brian, but wise I think.Thank you.
Quite a contrast to Eliz' rough and sharpened, new peaks. These old mountain systems. Beautiful image.
Frank L Croston.: Ours are much more rounded, not to be underestimated though...Thanks Care.
this is great in b&w Frank... you posted a scenes like this in colour a few weeks ago....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Glad you think so Peter, thanks.
Now I think that beats the Canyon smile
Frank L Croston.: Thats saying something Tom, but I won't disagree with you smile Thanks.
One of my favourite drives. Airy!
Frank L Croston.: Mine too, its that alright !
Let me know if you need an assistant...
Frank L Croston.: Oh I have a full time one, sorry Larry. I'll keep your application on file though smile
