I wonder just how long it has taken nature to produce this wonderful sight?
Frank L Croston.: Well Brian , apparently the Colorado has been flowing for 6 million years, but the canyon is seventy million years old, give or take a day or too...

For most of the canyon when stood at the rim, it's hard to believe that there is a river down there . Your photo shows it's there, though smile

that old Colorado River has done a great job of carving out the canyons Frank... this is a superb point of view....petersmile
