photoblog image More Tigers

More Tigers

I thought some of you might like to see the whole of last Thursdays photo  ( or not, I'm showing it anyway :-) ) of which I showed a small part of.

Not the best of angles ( and couldnt move the car ! ) as it was difficult to take from the street

What a magnificent murral.
Frank L Croston.: It truly is Ray.
i like all the fiery tones along with the fine tigers, Frank. i wonder what is the background behind the ornaments and the lipstick on the tiger face.
Frank L Croston.: A wonderful piece of art Ayush. I don't know anymore about it I'm afraid.
It's such an amazing piece of work! I think you did pretty darn well under the circumstances!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Elizabeth, truly amazing.
Superbe peinture mi-tigre, mi-femme.

It's all quite astounding Frank. And that half human, half tiger face is unnerving..
Frank L Croston.: It certainly brightens up a back street Chris, the face is a bit...
J'adore ...cette fresque est superbe !
Merci
Frank L Croston.: It is so good isn't it Claudine, thanks.
Talk about "anthropomorphized," Frank (in reference to my own image today)!
Frank L Croston.: Easy for you to say ! smile Yes we are on the same wavelength today Ginnie.

The car gives scale, Frank. What great colours here and I think you captured it pretty good.
Frank L Croston.: I suppose it does Astrid. Wonderful colours, yes. Thank you.

Well at least the car tells me that this dear old Blightly; I assumed that it was Stateside. It also gives it scale. I'm thinking that this is in an predominantly Indian/Bengal community looking at the decoration of the tiger's face.
Frank L Croston.: The Northern quarter in Manchester Alan. Don't think so ,this is a pretty cosmopolitan area right in the centre of town.
That is stunning Frank!
Frank L Croston.: That seems about right Bill. smile

Helluva interpretation of the Blake poem. With a full-lipped she-tiger thrown in, to probably keep the fight going.
Frank L Croston.: Quite an interpretation Louis.
Somebody has some very artistic gifts.
Frank L Croston.: Yes indeed Brian.
Somebody's really gone to town on this one! I find the genuine tigers more appealing than the semi-human.
Frank L Croston.: That they have, me too. smile
