This must be the most unusual bridge I have ever seen, Frank
Frank L Croston.: There are one or two like it in Cumbria, Elisabeth.
What a fantastic bridge Frank, so worn by all those feet and hooves.
Frank L Croston.: A great little bridge, Andrew, made more wonderful by use.

It must be some kind of HDR magic - excellent.
Frank L Croston.: Not too much, Louis...Thank you.
Well worn and beyond that, what an intriguing find
Frank L Croston.: That it is, Martin, I was pleased to take Elizabeth to see it.
What a fine shot, I wonder how many thousands of pairs of feet have trudges their way across that bridge over the centuries.
Frank L Croston.: I was thinking the same thing, Brian, it leads to a quarry working, now disused, hence the name.
I can't imagine how many people and animals have crossed it over time, thanks.
what a charming lead-in, Frank. very well shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ayush, charming is a good description of this bridge.
Hooray! A vertical landscape. Don't see enough
Frank L Croston.: Funny you should say that, I'm really not a fan, and invariably delete them, what few I take that is...smile I liked this one though, thanks, Bill.

Know it well Frank. Some of my favourite climbs around here. Crackin' weather!
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, there are some good walks around here, Mike. We were really lucky, a week of good weather, unheard of! smile
Another nice treatment, Frank - are you playing with the Nik Collection?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Tom, do not mention it! I can't get it to work, its downloaded ok, but won't join up with any of my prog's. I haven't had the inclination to work on it yet, it got me too cross! :-(

Aaaahhhhh... a little piece of heaven. I'm so pleased that you took Elizabeth to see this. As I think I've said, it is my favourite location int he Lakes.

Stick with the Nik Collection if you can get it to work; I have a version from before it was free.
Frank L Croston.: I thought you had said it was, Alan,I was pleased to revisit here with Elizabeth, and the caves... I will have another go with the Nik thing, just haven't been inclined to yet.
