What a great bird's eye view, Frank. I wonder if the Queen flies in, and thinks "home at last"
Frank L Croston.: Well of course now she parachutes in, Elisabeth. smile

It sure is splendid to see this from on high, Frank, after having seen it from the ground. WOW. It really shows the scale nicely!
Frank L Croston.: A big place,Ginnie, one of many she has.....smile
I am not sure what we are looking at. Is it the Queen's house? It looks lie the driveway and around the fountain is tilled with people. Would these be tourists? So many questions. Sorry.
Frank L Croston.: This is Buckingham palace,Mary, the Queen's main residence, ( one of a few ) Yes they will all be tourists. As you can see we provide great housing for our senior citizens....smile
great overview like this
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Chantal.
Fantastic shot from the air Frank. It can't be Mick Shaw's holiday home cos' that isn't Teignmouth
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Bill, you can't see Michaels house from the air,as it is camouflaged. smile

When I was there last year the court in front of the Palace was full of flags and crowds of tourists. What a grand, green area to walk around with her dogs!
I wonder that your airplane came so closely to the building -dangerously close!
Frank L Croston.: Yes, her gardens not bad is it? The flightpath into Heathrow takes you right across the centre of London, this is the fourth time I've done it,and we seemed to be very low,it was quite exciting.
What a great aerial shot of Buck House Frank, I guess your plane must have been fairly low down to get this.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Brian, yes, this was the best flight I've had over London,we did seem to be quite low this time, good fun! smile I have another shot posted on Friday of it.
pretty nice from the Top Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Nice from wherever, Aderonke! smile
Fabulous shot Frank! Well spotted.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Richard, I was surprised to see it!
Fantastic capture! I had guessed there would be a green area around the palace, Frank, but I had no idea it would be so large.

Like how you've included the four red cranes in the lower left corner.
Frank L Croston.: Oh yes,we don't mess about! Four red cranes? Oh yes,I fitted them in on purpose....smile Thanks, Beverley.
