Your editing makes this look even more of argued landscape than it is. I bet the dogs enjoyed their walks.

What I don't get, is how far this guy and his dogs had to climb, before they can walk this leisurely plateau.

Frank L Croston.: Thanks Louis, I think he came up the back of the crag you see on the right ( Yewbarrow) I came over the top of it, he would be about 2 miles from the road.
