Great capture, Frank! She was so sweet - and seemed very weary from her day.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Elizabeth, she was, I felt sorry for her.
Cette dame est lourdement chargée. J'aime les couleurs gaies de ses sacs.
Frank L Croston.: I think she was selling those bags Martine, they were very colourful.

A fine image Frank. The woman's clothing, hat and bags are just wonderful!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Chris, I think she was selling those bags, I felt a bit sorry for her, it was coming to the end of a long hot day.
Photo journalism at its best, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Ginnie, I hadn't thought of it that way. We visited a photo gallery with some amazing shots on show of photo journalism, I didn't know whether be inspired or pack it in...smile

I think you were in heaven: great shadows, culture and look at her slippers.....and her stocking and the colourful baskets and her hat. Excellent capture, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Astrid, Santa Fe is a great place, so much of interest to see. I felt a bit sorry for this lady.
Trudging home for a well earned rest. I like the shadows too

I once read a book, where part of the story happened in Santa Fe. The author went on about the stucco walled building, which apparently are thick and provide extra coolness on warm days. I was intrigued and dug around to find out what is stucco. We refer to it as plastering of the walls - this I discovered a few years later. In your pictures, I see these walls I have read about, so long ago.
Frank L Croston.: Wednesday's photo will show you more Louis, there are a lot of houses built that way in Sedona, just an hour away, some of them are wonderful.
