Is this a novel way to display items for sale, Frank, or a variation on the "shoes in the tree" phenomenon?

My second thought is that this is a rather emotionally charged scene, that might suggest expressions of loss or even anguish. Please disregard my initial crude comment.
Frank L Croston.: I think you are right Ray, you are forgiven. smile

I agree with Ray, this shot has a very emotional mood.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Beth.
Les chapelets sont sans doute considérés comme des offrandes.
Frank L Croston.: I would imagine so Martine.

People have lent this tree their objects of faith, perhaps some of their emotions too..
Frank L Croston.: It would seem that way Chris.
Offrandes naturelles ..
Frank L Croston.: Yes indeed Claudine.

Evocative!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Bonnie.
No need to even think this is anything other than a Catholic chapel but I've never seen rosaries hanging outside like this before.
Frank L Croston.: I don't know why it is Brian.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loretto_Chapel
I wonder what made this tree the object of such attention?
Frank L Croston.: Well its just at the entrance to the Lorretto chapel Bill. It gets lots of visitors due to its unique staircase.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loretto_Chapel
I suppose someone comes along and collects them from time to time - I'm afraid I don't understand the symbolism of hanging a cross on a tree!
Frank L Croston.: I'm not sure Tom, its like lighting a candle I suppose, they are rosaries not just crosses I believe.
Mexico has this tradition of course. Some are truly majestic!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Mary.
it would be a prayer just to be near them Frank... that is whole lot of rosaries....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: That it would Peter. there certainly were a lot of them.
I don't do religion, but will light a candle in a Greek church.
Frank L Croston.: You cant light many then in Thornton....smile
