He doesn't see to be Packing Heat, Frank...has this historic town become tame?
Frank L Croston.: Not from what I was told Ray....
Je ne sais pas si son commerce marche bien, il n'y a guère de monde.
Frank L Croston.: It was the end of the day Martine, and I deliberately waited until there was no one else around him. He was busy earlier.
that does not seem to be much, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: I waited 'til there was no one around him Ayush, he was busy earlier.
I love the composition, Frank - having the main subject a rather small part of the frame works really well on this! The shadows are great!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Elizabeth, your photographic comments are much appreciated
The way you have presented this, Frank, is an invitation to look and maybe even pick out a favorite.
Frank L Croston.: I'm sure he would be pleased to hear that Ginnie...Thanks smile

This is nice Frank, a street vendor laying out his wares
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Chris. One of many on the street.

Wonderful composition here, Frank. Great colours and shadows.
hmm. I see that spot on the pole... I hope that is not caused by peeing dogs???
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Astrid, I doubt it was dogs, don't know what had caused it.

I am drawn to the rather worrying state of the wooden prop Frank. I wonder what has caused the rot.
Frank L Croston.: Me too, its spoiling my photo...smile

I know just where this is. Judging by the marks on the wall, he's not the first person to sit there.
Frank L Croston.: I bet you do Alan, there were many sellers there.
Another day another dollar. Life can be hard. I like this picture very much Frank
Frank L Croston.: Yes indeed, lots of competition too, Bill. Thank you.
I love your composition Frank smile
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Martin, much appreciated.

Look how that pillar is weathered/eaten - must be quite old. Looking forward to more Santa Fe.
Frank L Croston.: I would imagine it is Louis, thanks.

I bought my earrings there under that portico!! What a wonderful shot...I esp like the window and shadows on the pole.
Frank L Croston.: You know what a great place it is then Bonnie. Thanks very much.
This is the sort of image I would use at my camera club and I think it would do well, with just a couple of minor changes, take a small crop off the right hand side and, if you have it on the original, a touch more wall on the left so all the sign is in the picture. Feel free to disagree smile
Frank L Croston.: I was careless with the sign on the left Brian, cropped it with the frame, I only noticed when I looked at the original. On the right I wanted to include the carved wooden support and the shadows. I almost gave up on getting this shot, there were constantly people surrounding him and I was standing across the street in the hot sun....I don't usually have that much patience smile
Indian jewellery, I'd guess smile
Frank L Croston.: Along those lines Tom.
Quite Mexican like. He has his own shady spot.
Frank L Croston.: There were lots of them in the shade.
