Superb image
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Ray, always appreciated.
I just love seeing the muscles in those horses powerful limbs!
Frank L Croston.: They are fine specimens, Elizabeth.
When man and beast work as one! But I must say I get a kick out of the baseball cap, Frank. smile
Frank L Croston.: That they are, Ginnie, Alan was upset about the Baseball cap. smile

I would immediately disqualify the guy on the right; he's wearing a baseball cap! Appalling! Love the action you've caught here especially with the lead horse's tail.
Frank L Croston.: Well he's a Native American so he cant wear a Cowboy hat smile Thank you Alan.
Une serie vraiment interessante
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Claudine.

Again, such wonderful detail in these shots.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Mary.
Another fine shot, is it older people who do this or do the younger generation get involved as well.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Brian, they cover the whole age range from 12, to 93 ! Ladies and gentleman .
Your expert processing increases the level of detail in this incredible action capture, Frank.

This thing that you do to cowboy pictures is really top-notch. So much detail and action at the same time.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Louis, I'm pleased you think so.
Another fine bas-relief-like effect, Frank - what are you using to get that?
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Tom. I use 'Photomatix' to tonemap the photo in the monochrome preset, sometimes in 'enhanced', (If in 'enhanced', zeroing the colour saturation ) whichever looks best to me, then use the double tonemap option choosing whichever preset works best. Its a bit hit and miss and doesn't work with every shot. Hope you can follow that, Tom. smile
