Coupled with yesterday's fine shot, I am liking this narrative, Frak.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Ray.

Well seen!
Frank L Croston.: Luckily I have a good pilot, Bonnie...smile Thanks.
This is great, Frank! You can just see the clouds above the Echo cliffs - that are starting to create a veil in front of them!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Elizabeth.
Cette route a l'air d'être interminable.
Frank L Croston.: It is never ending Martine...

And not a soul around..

It's difficult for those who haven't been there to appreciate the size of America
Frank L Croston.: Its difficult at first when you are here, Chris, I've got used to it now, it is immense.

All that road and no cars. It must have been boring painting all those lines!
Frank L Croston.: They have a machine that does it Elisabeth....

Oh yes, it reminds me of the road-movie "Paris, Texas". I learnt the word 'undulating' in England. The Brexit debate is also undulating ...
Frank L Croston.: So many road-movies, Philine, you can be in your own movie on these roads. Brexit is just a mess, with no one able to sort it out.
Immensité à  perte de vue ...magnifique !
Frank L Croston.: Yes indeed, Martine, thanks.

New paint....
I can imagine why they are called "Echo cliffs".
Frank L Croston.: Yep, all along it, me too Astrid.
That's the kind of road my grandson loved when he was little, Frank, thinking it was a roller coaster. Did it make you want to drive 100 mph?? smile
Frank L Croston.: A favourite road, nah, I've done that, cruisin' , music playin', window down, hair blowin' in the breeze....I may have exaggerated that last bit smile

A rollercoaster of a ride - and not a pothole to be seen.
Frank L Croston.: Correct, the nearest pothole was the Grand canyon Alan.
Was this the rush hour?
Frank L Croston.: The middle of it Bill, it was murder smile

I do like the look of these long highways Frank, and they must be fun to drive along. They might be depressing if on foot.
Frank L Croston.: They are fun to drive, Andrew, I wouldn't like to walk here....

Like I have indicated before, this kind of scene is very much like many places in SA. Un-du-la-ting, with a semi-arid landscape. Great picture.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Louis.
It must seem strange having the road to oneself, presumably for miles at a time, but with so much stunning scenery to look at.
Frank L Croston.: Driving can still be a pleasure here Brian.
Are there any speed limits posted along this highway, Frank?
Frank L Croston.: 65mph is the limit for most of it I think Beverley.
Looks like new pavement. What a difference that makes to this nice landscape.
Frank L Croston.: Yes I think it was, Mary.

Amazing! and no cars!
Frank L Croston.: It is rarely busy, but this was just after Christmas, Anne.
That road looks as though it has been painted on!
Frank L Croston.: It does rather Tom...smile
