A wonderful piece of geology. Your "mountain goat" partner is in her element.
Frank L Croston.: Isn't it great, Alan...Elizabeth loved the place, I'm sure we will return sometime.
Un endroit bien interessant à  decouvrir ..
Frank L Croston.: It is indeed Claudine, a great place to explore.
The woman is fearless
Frank L Croston.: Tell me about it !

A gorgeous rockscape - I see a waterfall, too. Alan showed also a waterfall in Yorkshire today.
Frank L Croston.: Its a great place Philine, sometimes the waterfall dries up, it makes it easier to climb through.

For a minute I thought this was Cheddar gorge.
Frank L Croston.: Thats a bit bigger methinks, Andrew, and there's a road through it smile
I've heard of this place but never seen any pictures, its magnificent.
Frank L Croston.: It is indeed Brian.
Almost looks like an ancient village perched there at the top left, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It does, Beverley, be a bit of a climb up and down though. smile

Plenty of rock for Elizabeth to scale!
Frank L Croston.: Oh yes indeed, Anne.
Rough old country smile
Frank L Croston.: Its all grim up North Tom smile
Many years ago I climbed the {dry-ish) waterfall, pulled myself over the top and came face to face with a distinctly dead sheep. Yuk.
Frank L Croston.: Yes, I've climbed the waterfall when dryish...Fortunately not meeting a dead sheep, though I've come across a few in the Lakes, never pleasant. :-(
I love both of these photos! What a great place - yes, we will return!
Ha ha, and I just mentioned mountain goats.
Frank L Croston.: I have no idea to whom you refer Mary....smile
