How lovely it is, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It really is, Ray. Many, many years ago it was a waterfall, it must have been quite a sight, now its a Mecca for climbers.
Beautiful shot, Frank! I remember that place well!!
Frank L Croston.: Glad you like it, it is lovely , and interesting, we had a good day there, in English canyons. smile
OMG, Frank. It's a place I can feel from afar.
Frank L Croston.: Its a wonderful place, with much more to see than I've shown here, Ginnie. I know you and Astrid would like it, especially if you go to the top of the cove.

It does not get better than this, Frank. Everything looks so peaceful and quiet.
Frank L Croston.: It is a lovely place, if you go at the right time it can be, its busy in summer though.
Joli paysage avec ce cours d'eau.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Martine, indeed it is, the stream used to fall as a waterfall from the top, but now it runs underground emerging at the bottom of the cliff.

That is one fearsome looking cliff ahead Frank. Is it possible to get up there without killing yourself?
Frank L Croston.: Its pretty much vertical, Chris. You'll be pleased to know that there is a rock stairway off to the left which takes you onto the top where you can walk along the Limestone pavement and view the 'Clints' and 'Grykes' smile

Did you ever climb as well as hike, Frank?
Frank L Croston.: No, though I have great admiration for climbers. I've only done a bit of scrambling on some hikes.
Magnifique , j'aime beaucoup !
Frank L Croston.: Pleased you do, thanks Claudine.

Instantly recognisable. I first come across this gem when together with a friend we had this very stupid idea to backpack part of the Pennine Way, carting all our worldly goods. We gave up after three days - never, ever again! I've since had far more pleasurable visits, including one when we stayed in a hotel in Malham itself.
Frank L Croston.: It is a lovely place, some good walking all around it. The Penine way has never appealed to me.
A fine picture Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Bill.

Excellent detail in a well-composed shot. Likey.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much Louis.
Lovely image Frank. I'm liking the framing. Even with that tree dead centre. It still woks.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Rob,I think I got away with that smile
A very fine shot Frank, somewhere we haven't been to as yet.
Frank L Croston.: You should make the effort Brian, you might not make it to the top but the village is very nice.
A beautifully composed shot, Frank. My eye is drawn to the stone wall and gate on the left. Would make for a lovely capture as well.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Beverley, plenty stone walls to come smile

What a lovely picture of this beautiful area.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Anne, it is a great place.
Must get there one of these days.
Frank L Croston.: You really should Tom, a wonderful place.
> What a lovely capture for us to view.
Frank L Croston.: It was a pleasure being there to take it Jacquelyn, thank you.
Did you arrange a private viewing? I've never seen the place so empty!
Frank L Croston.: Ha, ha...We were lucky, there were not that many people around ,Graeme , it was the end of March, so before it gets really busy I suppose.
Such a nice scene here. Wonderful place for a walkabout.
Frank L Croston.: Its a great place, Mary, some wonderful walks around here.
My heavens this is good...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Larry, much appreciated.
