nice shot mate. Merry Xmas!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Rob, happy Christmas to you too.
This is a stunner, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Ray.
Oh gorgeous, Frank!! I LOVE how this part of the Canyon doesn't get sun in winter - so the snow stays... yet the other side is sunny and dry!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Elizabeth, it makes for a nice contrast.
Jolie photo avec les arbres enneigés. Joyeux Noël !
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Martine. A very happy Christmas to you too.
Christmas trees in the canyon! Who knew!!!
Frank L Croston.: It never ceases to amaze, Ginnie.

Oh lovely! I like the contrasts between two seemingly different seasons. I guess a lot of the Canyon does not see the sun during the winter.
Frank L Croston.: Quite right Alan, parts just stay more or less frozen.
Wow! Does this happen very often?
Frank L Croston.: Every winter Bill, they close the North rim to visitors due to the amount of it, this is the South rim.

Stunning Frank, I never imagined snow here.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks andrew, this is at the South rim, the North rim is closed to tourists in the winter due to the amount of snow it gets.
