Wyoming skies 3

Winter Wyoming Poem

It’s winter in Wyoming
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty five below,
Oh, how I love Wyoming
When the snow is up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around.
I could never leave Wyoming
‘cuz I’m frozen to the ground.

Magnificent photograph Frank. The light and dark with the blue of the distant mountains is great.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Andrew, I'm pleased you like it.
What a wonderful and dramatic sky!
Frank L Croston.: I turned around and there this was! Your description is more poetic than my one word shout at the time. smile

LOL.. love the poem. I love the image even more, though. I looks like a huge pair of hands formed in a cup.
Frank L Croston.: Credit Elizabeth for the poem, it does look like that, I thought of a Lobster...smile
I thought as Alan did, Frank. Those clouds do resemble a pair of hands.
Frank L Croston.: Yes they do Beverley, I thought of a giant Lobster!
it sounds like the weather in Wyoming is similar to our climate in winter Frank... BIG sky....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: It does indeed Peter, I turned around and this scared me!
Time to get your head down
Frank L Croston.: Hitch up the wagon and go!
