Wyoming Traffic Jam...

Recently we visited Wyoming....Elizabeths home state from the age of two, off and on. It is BIG, and has appropriate weather, I'll show you some this week, and if you are good, maybe some later.....

This is no lie. You'll go hours between gas stations

Cette route a l'air d'être interminable.
Frank L Croston.: It did seem that way....
Wyoming produces fine women...
Frank L Croston.: I'm sure it does Larry smile
YAY! I'm so glad I was able to show you even a small bit of Wonderful Wyoming!
Frank L Croston.: A small bit....You mean there's more....?

Driving those roads must be strange after the congestion here, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Its still a pleasure here, Elisabeth, unless we go to Phoenix!
Routes à  perte de vue ..aller plus loin..
Bonne journée
Frank L Croston.: To infinity, and beyond, Claudine. Thanks.

Frank I promise I will be good, I will eat with my mouth shut and speak with two words (yes, but wink )
It looks like they have a lot of land in Wyoming, Frank and nice clouds. I hope you "filled her up" before you hit the road..... let's go...
Frank L Croston.: You may get some more then...Big land, big skies, HUGE clouds. As for filling up, Elizabeth's daughter, who's in the car in front by the way, said "oh you'll have enough fuel" we just made it to the gas station, sweating for a few miles!

The volume of traffic would drive me mad; I would yearn for the open road...

I had a Kia Soul for one of my US trips and it only had a fuel range of 220 miles. It made for some nerve-racking journeys on some days.
Frank L Croston.: Ha, We hired one of those once, it was remarkably roomy, we went through Monument valley in it.On this trip we had ( long story) a Dodge grand caravan people carrier, seven seats, all singing all dancing!
"On the road again" will be singing in my head all day, Frank. Wide, open spaces!
Frank L Croston.: Could be worse, Ginnie. Very wide!

A driver’s paradise, and dream in the uk.
Frank L Croston.: True, Andrew, driving here can still be a pleasure. Unlike the U.K.
Now at last I see the need for Cruise Control
Frank L Croston.: Its certainly of more use here than the U.K. My main use of it there was going through m-way roadworks to avoid fines!

O give me a home where the buffaloes roam
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Home, home on the range
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Where the air is so pure and the zephyrs so free
And the breezes so balmy and light
That I would not exchange my home on the range
For all of the cities so bright

From "Home on the Range" by Frank Sinatra
Frank L Croston.: I didn't know Frank Sinatra had ever sung that, Louis, whadda ya know smile
Land of ranches and cowboys too. I'm sure you could find a rodeo or two.
Frank L Croston.: I'm sure we could...
Awesome shot by the way with that perspective.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much Mary.
It is difficult to imagine roads just going on and on like this with wide open spaces around and not much traffic.
Frank L Croston.: Not unusual here Brian, driving can still be a pleasure.
Along with no traffic in sight, Frank, there seems to be no twists or turns in the road either.
Frank L Croston.: Nope..It was pretty straight all the way, Beverley.
BIG country is right... nice vanishing point....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: It certainly is, Peter. Thank you.

... and ensure that you do not have a gas guzzler for an engine too, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: If you can find one here, Ayush...But compared to what I am used to, fuel is cheap.
Seriously BIG!
Frank L Croston.: HUGE !
