These are huge big beasts. I love the Amercan flag on the loco. I wonder if the one on the other side is the "right" way round?

I saw Jimi Hendrix play the Star Spangled Banner at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.
Frank L Croston.: I think the flag is the right way on the other side...Wow..That must be quite a memory Alan, I never saw him unfortunately.

What a great flag painting, combined with a nice message.

Enjoy the celebrations - is this your first time?
Frank L Croston.: Oh we did,my second actually being here, Louis.
No mistaking where this engine is, enjoy your day Frank. We are sort of celebrating as it is our son-in-law kevins 40th.birthday today, unfortunately for us and his parents he is a long way away on the Greek island of Paxos.
Frank L Croston.: We did enjoy it, they certainly know how to celebrate here. A happy birthday to your son in law too.
Best wishes, and no hard feelings to our former colony
Frank L Croston.: I've told them they'll have to behave better.....smile
Ah, yes - it's that day again smile
Frank L Croston.: Yes Tom, we have to indulge them smile
