Looks to me like you applied Law of Thirds, and found more of either canyon or sky worked equally well, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Being lazy also helped, Ray...
Well it's a really beautiful photo and kinda cool the way you did it!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elizabeth. Glad you like it.

Can't go wrong.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bonnie...Oh, I can...smile
I'm not sure what you couldn't choose, Frank, but it looks better than fine.
Frank L Croston.: It was between colour and b/w, Ginnie, so i did both. smile

I think I would be in a total "not knowing what to choose" if I was in that same spot. Short of eyes for one thing..
I like this a lot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Astrid, tired of not working yet ? smile

This is good Frank. I like the glimpse of the river way down there..
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Chris. Yes, you don't get many views of it from the rim.
Comment choisir ...c'est si beau Merci
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Claudine.

I used to be indecisive but I'm not so sure... The sky is fabulous is is even more grand than the Grand Canyon.
Frank L Croston.: I'm a lot more positive now, I think...Thanks, Alan.

The sky looks strange Frank, almost as if the picture is upside down.
Frank L Croston.: I can see what you mean, Andrew, but I can assure you its not..

The colours make it appear as if these are two separate striking photos, Frank
Frank L Croston.: They do I suppose, I know some people add different skies to shots but this is all genuine, Elisabeth.

Well i thought it a stormy sky, not intentionally b&w. An excellent rendering.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Louis, sorry to mislead you. smile
I've got no complaints about this, what a magnificent sky.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian. It was a super sky.

Interesting ... 2 for the price of one!
Frank L Croston.: I try to be cheap, that doesn't sound right does it....
I would have taken the other route and cropped the sky

But I still like this
Frank L Croston.: Looking at it again I think you are right, Bill, its a bit off balance, glad you like it anyway, thanks.
> Was the sky really that grey? A good spot to take your shot. I like it.
Frank L Croston.: I processed the sky in b/w, Jacquelyn. Thank you.
Creation merges into sky
Frank L Croston.: Or the other way round, Larry.
