You have conjured up more than a storm here, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elisabeth, it was a sight to see.
Oh, WOW, Frank. That's dramatic.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ginnie, we had about an hour of scenes like this. We were so lucky.

Looks like the place has got its own eco system
Frank L Croston.: Oh it most definitely has, Chris.

Ghostly and wonderful, Frank. I think you were 'short of eyes'to absorb everything here. What a place to be.
Frank L Croston.: I like that description, Astrid, thank you. How lucky am I to visit this place regularly.
GASP.....fantastico!!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bill, glad you think a so!

This looks other worldly Frank. As a child I had a book with artists impressions of how the other planets might look, no gas giants then. This could be Jupiter.
Frank L Croston.: If you find the right place here, away from people ( it is possible ! ) you could imagine yourself on another planet, Andrew.

Always lovely to see shots for your back yard, Frank. I like your view here with the clouds mirroring the formation of the land.
Frank L Croston.: Arent I lucky! I liked that also, we had a great hour of scenes like this, including a rainbow, which Elizabeth has posted. Darn the competition! smile

Excellent and promising some dramatic events.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Louis, we had about an hour of dramatic events! Then went for lunch. smile
What a variation from the usual scene, truly awesome frank
Frank L Croston.: Well I did it in colour as usual, Martin, but then thought I'd give b/w a try. Thanks very much.
It looks dramatically different than your usual images of the canyon.
Frank L Croston.: Well I have to try and do something different than the competition across the room...smile
Hence this Brian.
Wozers, Frank. Excellent depth captured here.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary, much appreciated.

Am lost for words - this is wonderful Frank!

Amazing shot. So often shots of the Canyon just look iconic. You captured a magical mood.
Frank L Croston.: It is difficult to capture it in a new way, which is why ( mostly ) I prefer paintings of it. But sometimes you get lucky with the weather, as we did on this occasion for a short time. So called 'bad' weather is best smile Thank you for the nice comment, Beth.
