photoblog image Storm over Tucson

Storm over Tucson

A couple of weeks ago we drove from some friends house  South of Tucson back to Flagstaff, a drive of about five hours.

This weeks photo's are all taken from the car during the journey, so apologies for the occasional lack of quality. All down to me, not the camera.

If this was taken through the windscreen of a moving car, I don't think you need to apologise for quality this week, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elisabeth, first time with a new camera as well!
The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!
Frank L Croston.: Well we know who to blame for that don't we, Ginnie. smile

As you know somebody 'flat-ironed' Hollandshire, so to see mountains and skies like this is a treat to me. LOVE the storm over Tuscon, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Astrid. I too love mountains and hills.
Surprenant mais aussi très impressionnant c'est sur !
Bonne journée
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Claudine.

This makes a fine composition Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Andrew.
I hope with a journey of that length that sky done no more than threaten. You're certainly getting about over there Frank, a totally different concept for distances than over here I suspect.
Frank L Croston.: Thats all it did, Brian. The time/distance thing between the U.K. and here is really noticeable.
The mountains look younger this close up. A telling sky.
Frank L Croston.: The sky was telling us to get going...
Distance means less with those empty highways, doesn't it?
Frank L Croston.: It is strange when you compare a five hour journey here to one in the U.K.
Very impressive...
Frank L Croston.: It certainly was, Larry.
Well you are off to a decent start Frank. Impressive sky
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Bill, never a shortage of dramatic skies here.
