Without the figure I'd have no clue as to the scale of this..
Frank L Croston.: Even when you are actually there you can't judge the scale without something like that, Chris.

The colour of the grasses show that it;s quite an arid climate. The figure really makes this shot.
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Alan, it was the figure that drew me to the shot.

Good luck I say Frank
Frank L Croston.: It would be needed, Andrew.
Makes me feel tired just looking at this grin
Frank L Croston.: This would be one loooooong walk, Bill.
That certainly puts man in perspective!
Frank L Croston.: Yep, puts him in his place!
Love the walker for the scale. Nice shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary.

What a landscape! The solitary figure really adds to the composition.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Anne.
That is a wide open place in itself.
Frank L Croston.: Very much so, Brian.
Those improbably green trees again...
Frank L Croston.: Everywhere you look, Larry. smile
