The horse seems proud of the rider's effort...
Frank L Croston.: There is a very sad story here, Ray. Chelsea is riding her brothers horse, he was killed in a car crash a few years ago not long after a previous roping event. I never met him but Elizabeth took lots of pic's of him, she said you couldn't take a bad one of him.
Beautiful capture, Frank!!! Loads of dust, and the steers hind leg in her loop!
Sweet Chelsea on her brothers' horse - the Shiew legacy continues!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth.Yes Indeed.

Good action shot Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Andrew.
Intersting the use of a thinner rope...
Frank L Croston.: From what little I know about it, Larry, they use different ropes, some stiffer than others depending on wether they are heading, or heeling.
She must have wonderful balance
Frank L Croston.: They all make it look easy, Bill.
The dust really is a great part of the shot for bringing the realism. That is a nice horse.
Frank L Croston.: Dust or mud, great for pics, not for the camera...Or me! Her sadly departed brothers horse, Mary, a lovely horse.

What skill!
Frank L Croston.: They make it look easy, I suppose thats what skilful people do, Anne smile
Good to see the ladies getting a look in, has Elizabeth ever had a go at this?
Frank L Croston.: There are quite a few that do, Brian. Elizabeth's not done any roping, I don't think... But she's pretty good on a horse, I'm jealous.
A tricky manoeuvre!
Frank L Croston.: Very skilful, Tom.

I like the feel of teh action here with the dust being kicked up. The horse looks pleased with itself.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Alan, probably enjoying the action.

Frank L Croston.: Yes indeed, Peter. Thank you.
