photoblog image Smoke and flames...

Smoke and flames...

Coming from a controlled burn in the Coconino national forest just outside Flagstaff.

I've been going through my pending use files and have picked some out that seem to have been there for ages that I havent used for whatever reason, I may have shown some of them before, apologies if I have, I couldn't face going through 2000 odd photo's to check.

Another excellent smokey fire shot. Can't remember this one. Being near enough to have the smoke working like fog in the shot, makes the picture for me.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Louis, I was lucky to be able to get that close .
A fine Dantesque scene Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Andrew.
Very good Mate.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Michael.
It is a great shot, Frank, with an amazing range of shades.
Frank L Croston.: I couldn't have asked for more, Mary, smoke/fire/sunlight....It was great fun taking these.
A dramatic shot Frank. I often wonder if I've posted an image before, I'm up to 3,000 early in the new year!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian,I'm sure I have...Oh I'm way behind you then!
