Spectacular!
Frank L Croston.: The canyons not bad either, thanks, Ray. ;-)
This is just lovely in black & white, Frank! I never think to do that...

You can really see how the wind was howling! My jacket is plastered to my back! smile
Frank L Croston.: thank you, Elizabeth, sometimes b/w is appropriate, yes, I was worried about you at the time...I didn't fancy climbing down to get you!

A lovely view but so difficult to get the grandeur in any photo. Nicely done, though, in b&w.

David Attenborough's new series "Planet Earth II" had the slot canyons of AZ in the episode on Sunday.
Frank L Croston.: I agree, I should have got her to turn around....Oh! I see what you mean! It is Alan, thats why I prefer paintings of the canyon. I'll try and find that, seeing as the BBC can't figure out how to let us use the player here! And I've paid my licence! :-(
Gobsmacked as Ray would say!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bill.

Heh-heh, I first thoughts she was sitting on a brick, but changed my idea on closer inspection. Great shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Louis, it was very windy, hard to stand up!
I love the way we are so near the cloud base Frank.
Frank L Croston.: They are low, sometimes in the canyon itself...
The textures and nature are palpable here. Outstanding.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary.
Another great image, I guess neither of you will ever run out of images from this place.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, got a few to go at yet...smile

Frank L Croston.: This place never fails, thanks.
she is braver than I!
Frank L Croston.: She is very brave, Larry, no doubt about it.
