Yes, this is a great shot of the supermoon. Love the composition.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, but remember what I said at the start of this series...smile

Great shot, Frank...one of the best I have seen of this rare phenomenon.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ray, all real, just not at the same time...

The super-moon makes its appearance!
Frank L Croston.: It was super too, Chris, a great sight.
A fine fake Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bill, the alternative was to move the earth....smile
Fantastic photo Frank, and lucky you.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Andrew, we were lucky indeed, for two nights.
A fine twiddle Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Michael, I took more silhouette shots than moon shots.
I did a bit of reading about photographing the moon and found a lot of trickery can be used and it made sense. I don't have photoshop, however.
Frank L Croston.: Its not the easiest thing to do, I found, but we were lucky enough to have two nights of it so I did some cheating. smile
Very well done, I meant to say, as well.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mary.
It has come out well Frank, if you'd have been over here almost everywhere was cloudy on the night this was at its best!
Frank L Croston.: I believe so, Brian, we were lucky for two nights here. Thanks.

Works well, you will easily get accepted into the Royal order of twiddling with this one.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mike, they don't have royal orders here, I could be a grand wizard...Oh, hang on, apparently thats something else entirely....

Very impressive Frank - I bet you are not surprised to learn that Lancaster's super moon failed to appear through the heavy clouds :-(
Frank L Croston.: Clouds, in England, in November!? smile
A great sight! The next one, I believe is 2034 - doubt if I'll be around to see it!
Frank L Croston.: It was, Tom, I'm hoping for the best....smile
a smiling moon...
Frank L Croston.: It was laughing at us all standing around waiting for it, Larry. smile
