Those are hard to find....wonderful , sharp capture.I like all the curves.
Frank L Croston.: There are two lots of them on the lake, these aren't shy at all, but the other family stay out of the way. Thanks, Bonnie.

Why is that man pointing that THING at us?
Frank L Croston.: How often have I heard that....
They are shy Frank, not quite ready for the limelight.
Frank L Croston.: Not yet, Martin...smile
It seems to me they are playing shy. Wonderful capture.
Frank L Croston.: They were cleaning up, Mary, kept those long necks on the move.

Loving the series, Frank.

Beautiful curves in the necks, and the details in the down, make this image very special IMHO.

Such lovely birds. How they were every called ugly ducklings is beyond me. I was pleased to see that at least seven of the eight were on the Mill Pond at Beaulieu on Thursday evening. The eight may have been there, too, but I was in a cycle ride and the leader was not for stopping sad
Frank L Croston.: Thats the trouble when not alone, Alan...They are lovely, I like seeing them.
The one on the right looks a bit shy.
Frank L Croston.: Oh, they kept moving around, Brian.
are they ever so cute with the soft downy feathers Frank...
new life....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: That they are, Peter, yes, growing fast.

You don't get much closer to this - I can feel the fluff tickling my nose!
Frank L Croston.: No, not with their Mum watching on, Elisabeth.
Wonderful picture
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much.
You must have followed this pair around all day, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: No, they never moved, having a good clean up, Tom.
A lovely shot, and great texture...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Larry, they invite photos...smile
