Strewth! That is certainly one of the best "canyon snaps" I have ever seen!

All this...and a gal...better pinch yourself, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Ray, much appreciated. I am bruised already from that...smile
This is one of my favorite of your canyon shots. Such depth and atmosphere!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary, I'm pleased you think so.
I'm in total agreement with the others, among your very best shots of the canyon, is it far miles and time wise from Flagstaff?
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much, Brian, my good lady just told me off for posting it on a Thursday, as she says no one looks in then,I see she could be right...:-( To the South rim its approx 75 miles, two hours driving.Easily doable as a day trip, the North rim is a different proposition, about four hours, you would need to stay over to make the best of it.
i know your first guess Frank... this is a grand photograph...
welcome back to America... if you are there yet...petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Peter, not back yet, but working towards it. smile

Wonderful grand Canyon shot. It is so difficult to capture the grandeur and you have nailed it!
Frank L Croston.: That is very true, Beth, I'm pleased you think I did that.
You are fortunate, indeed...
Frank L Croston.: I know it, Larry, thanks.
