Colourful

Some pic's from my recent visit to the Royal academy summer exhibition in London. I really dont feel at ease taking pic's of strangers, so I hope all these people will forgive me, they were taken with affection...

There's certainly a variety of um, colors! Nice candid, Frank! I like the big one - upper right...
Frank L Croston.: It was like walking around in a rainbow! I was very dull...There were a lot to like.

Ce musée abrite de bien beaux tableaux. Jolie composition.
Frank L Croston.: That it does, Martine, thank you.
I have a feeling if no one knows no one will complain at all, Frank. But, man alive, you sure have to stand far away to get a proper view of the paintings on high!
Frank L Croston.: They have so many to fit in, Ginnie, I felt sorry for some of the artists, their pics were so high up!

Frank L Croston.: Probably not, Chris, thank you.

I am not as brave as I once was - having had some rude stares! Good to get behind them
Frank L Croston.: I was never brave, Elisabeth!
Well spotted Frank, and as you say, very colourful.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Andrew, no grimness here...smile

This pic full of folks won't even know they were shot, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Well, they did get a bit annoyed when I started marshalling them, Ray...."Stand here, look this way, don't smile! "
They chose their pants well that morning, well coordinated tones
Frank L Croston.: A friend of mine, years ago, was convinced that they handed out fashion uniforms when you got to London. smile
Very nice composition indeed Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Richard.
I see a couple of paintings I like. I spent from noon till nine-thirty last night at a friend's private gallery. Inspires me greatly.
Frank L Croston.: I saw quite a few that having the money I would have bought, it was inspirational.

I know what you mean... they are colourful indeed and fit well in the museum smile
Frank L Croston.: There were lots more like this, I felt very anonymous .

I'm not comfortable taking people, either. I'm sure these two won't mind as you have probably caught their better side smile
Frank L Croston.: Oh, cruel, Alan....smile
It is not something I do a lot but I have actually asked people a couple of times but usually I chicken out. I can't think this would upset anyone
Frank L Croston.: I have once or twice, but then you don't get what you wanted in the first place. Thanks, Bill.
It's a gallery shot, Frank - the people were incidental.
Frank L Croston.: Very true, Tom, though at this show they became part of it for me, I enjoyed it very much.
A good shot Frank, just as I would have taken it, I rarely do a candid that isn't taken from behind the people concerned.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, I just can't do it if they are looking...smile
Looks like a lively place...
Frank L Croston.: Extremely so, Larry.
