An interesting art installation wasn't it?! They did make me happy!
Frank L Croston.: It was, Elizabeth, hidden away...They were fun, better than throwing them out.
Jolie collection de bouches d'incendie. Elles sont très bien décorées.
Frank L Croston.: Yes it was, Martine, someone had done a good job on them, very imaginative.

Really like this, Frank.

Canada could use a few of these, spread around the place, right now.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ray, indeed they could, you have to feel for them.
Cool, love it.
Frank L Croston.: We thought the same, thanks, Rob.

It looks as if you have visited hydrant heaven Frank
Frank L Croston.: Someone was obviously a hydrant aficionado,
Quite a cool collection Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Isn't it just, Richard.
Lots of people paint the hydrants in front of their homes. Dalmatians and tree stumps seem to be popular.
Frank L Croston.: I saw one or two on our travels, I presume these were all disused.
Brothers to the garden gnome!
Frank L Croston.: A lot nicer methinks
i love the happy hydrants... this must be a very high fire zone Frank....petersmile

our sons dressed up the fire hydrant for Halloween one year... i looked like a man sitting on the ground with an empty bottle of cheap wine beside him... he wore jeans stuffed with hay... rubber boots... a checkered jack shirt and a tuque / watch cap...
a bully kid almost broke his foot trying to kick off his hat!!!!
Frank L Croston.: Good aren't they, Peter, we found them hidden away at the side of a car park.
As Ginnie would say...How fun
Frank L Croston.: That's about right,
Quite novel aren't they.
Frank L Croston.: Yes, someone put some work into this, Brian.
DisneyWorld for Dogs?

Was this an urban art program like the PIGS OF BATH back in 2008?
Frank L Croston.: Ha, ha, yes, dog heaven...I don't really know what it was other than a collection of these hydrants, it was behind a building next to a car park in Prescott Arizona.
