The house gets my vote
, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: I presume you mean the horse, Ray....smile
An amazing sculpture... and your photo is terrific with it silhouetted against that wonderful sky!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth, glad you like it.

Blimey - I wonder what this oddity commemorates Frank?
Frank L Croston.: It's supposed to represent a circus act, Chris, it's by Sir Peter Blake...Someone stole it for scrap metal, but it has since been replaced by a plastic replica, what a great country we live in..
The poor horse had the short straw
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Martin, doing a good job though.
I love that sculpture which is remindind me of "aloalo" (tomb sculpture) in the south west of Madagascar. Please click on the following link: http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/works-of-art/1998.317.1/
Frank L Croston.: It does have a certain similarity, Richard. I believe this is a celebration of circus acts.
What an unusual statue, I read your reply to Chris, it has quite a history.
Frank L Croston.: It is very nice, Brian, it's one of a pair, the other being another balancing act, lots of artwork/statues were stolen around Blackpool, quite shocking really.
We will probably get the original back in a container load of stuff from China
Frank L Croston.: Ha, ha, it might not look the same though, Bill...smile
I'll bet the horse is not too happy!
Frank L Croston.: Too out of breath to complain though, Tom smile
