I spent my childhood in sand dune country, Frank, and always thought of the sand as dry sea...your fine shot illustrates this well.
Frank L Croston.: A good description, Ray, thanks.

I thought that we were in snow at first. What an amazing spectacle.
Frank L Croston.: Easy to think that, Alan, it was a great place, once you got away from PEOPLE!
What a spectacular and amazing scene Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Richard, it was spectacular.
Wowee I thought it was snow at first Frank.
Frank L Croston.: An easy mistake, Andrew.
Hard to believe it is not snow.
Frank L Croston.: I was tempted to say nothing and see how many people noticed, Mary...smile

What fine white sand - it reminds me of the sand on the beach at Scapa Flow
Frank L Croston.: It was quite wonderful, Elisabeth.
A lovely comp Frank with lots of pleasing depth and contrasts - wishing you and Elizabeth all the best for 2016.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Fred. All the best to you and yours.

First I thought I would be snow - white sands - what a great experience - I wish you and your dear wife a Happy New Year!
Frank L Croston.: It does look that way, Philine, a remarkable place. Thank you, a happy new year to you also.
Those ripples make it look just like the sea, I'm presuming it covers a vast area.
I thought it was snow until I read your words. Amazing scenery
Frank L Croston.: That's how it seems when you are there, Bill, except for the temperature!
Isn't that where they tested nuclear missiles? smile
Frank L Croston.: It is Tom, but not the day we were there....smile
Love those blue shadows...
Frank L Croston.: Aren't they great, Larry.

Frank L Croston.: Well you would know, Peter! thank you. smile
Wonderful image, Frank! You caught this so beautifully - I'm not sure I got any good shots at all from this amazing place!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you my good wife, I don't believe that for a moment....smile
