photoblog image So long!

So long!

After another wonderful six months here in America, I head home tonight , hopefully not for too long, leaving lots of friends behind, and especially, my new wife, the lovely, Elizabeth.....But I'll be back.

A lovely shot, Frank. A bitter sweet moment, though; I'm sure you'll looking forward t seeing Mick Shaw's new cameras but missing your lovely wife, too, especially at this time of the year. Just think of all our glorious scenery, though - all freshly washed.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Alan, well I've seen the freshly washed place, and I'm not impressed.....I'll get to see Michaels new toys on Friday, my little Canon has packed up...I'm not impressed.

Back home for Christmas then Frank
Frank L Croston.: Yep! And a bit longer, Chris.....:-(
You can spend some quality time with Mr Shaw

Or you can enjoy yourself grin
Frank L Croston.: Oy! Don't malign my mate like that....It's my job!
Have a safe trip Frank and I am sure you'll be enjoying your new wife's company very soon!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Richard, got back safely, if not happily...:-(

I hope it isn't for too long, Frank, though any separation will seem long
Frank L Croston.: As it stands we don't know, Elisabeth, as you say, anytime is long enough, but we were expecting it, not that that makes it any easier, we'll get there.
Have a safe trip , see you Friday.
Frank L Croston.: Cheers, bud, indeed I will.
Aren't we lucky with Skype and modern communication. I had the years of letters, cards and the occasional expensive phone call. Safe Travels.
Frank L Croston.: We are, Mary, yes, I've done that in the past, though it was always fun to get a letter, I think we lost something there...
Have a safe journey Frank. I do hope the powers that be get their fingers out and sort out the paper work you need very soon.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Brian, I got home eventually, no matter how hard B.A. tried to stop me, yes, me too, life too short!
Happy trails to you, until we meet again...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much, Larry.
Happy trails... Good shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Jacquelyn.
a fine shot, Frank. i would like to think of the flare as a positive sign that you are back where your heart is, soon
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ayush, that's a very nice thought.
