photoblog image A lone Juniper...

A lone Juniper...

Clings on to a ledge, overlooking a view of a large ampitheatre, viewed from somewhere between Hopi, and Mojave points, on the South rim of the Grand canyon. Arizona. U.S.A.

That amphitheatre forming 'arm' caught my attention first and foremost. Very special. Crop a way, about half off the top and see how that juniper takes centre stage.
Frank L Croston.: I'll try it Louis, thanks.
The one large shadow is the draw here for me. Juniper has quite view for all times.
Frank L Croston.: Yes it has, Mary.

This is just so overwhelming it is difficult to take in, Frank
Frank L Croston.: It can be like that, Elisabeth, even being there the scale is hard to take in.
Wonderful view for all through this image.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Jacquelyn.
