Very good, Frank.

Looks like pilots have to be skinny, heh!

It's great to see this piece of history restored to flying condition Frank
Frank L Croston.: Yes it is, Chris, there is all kinds of stuff at this museum, there are parts of a 'flying fortress' around the back, waiting to be restored.

Now this is proper flying. None of this just pressing the "Go" button and keeping your hands out of the way. I've just been reading the details of the plane; fascinating to learn that it was part of NASA's Apollo space programme in its later years!
Frank L Croston.: Correct, Alan, the guy who showed us around, said for a few days, I forget the reason, it served as 'Airforce one' as well, but it's not mentioned in the article about it.

so what happens if I press this button.....???
Frank L Croston.: Nooooo!!!
Excellent shot Frank! I am fascinated.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Richard, so was I !
My first view inside an old fighter plane.
Frank L Croston.: The rest of it was very comfortable for the passengers , there was a kitchen as well.
Seems a bit tame compared with cockpits and other areas on modern planes doesn't it.
Frank L Croston.: How primitive these things look always amazes me, Brian.
lots to look at...
Frank L Croston.: Indeed there was, Larry.
what a wonderful record of history Frank....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: It was very interesting, Peter.
