Stunning, Frank! Beautiful how you've captured the rain coming down - and you're clearly in the warm sun, same as these lovely grasses!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elizabeth...Actually it was d**m cold! The camera lies! smile

The rain over the complimentary colors is dramatic!
Frank L Croston.: It was certainly dramatic, Bonnie, thanks.

Wonderful presentation and I love the rain... I am glad the camera has a stabilizer...being 'D**M cold' often mean 'shivering'...wink
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Astrid, well I didn't quite get to 'shivering', but not long after this I headed back for a nice hot latte...smile
We're definitely not in England anymore, are we, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: We certainly are not, Ginnie...smile
What a wonderful and powerful atmospheric shot Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much, Richard.
Those trees in the foreground are almost in 3D Frank
Frank L Croston.: A trick of the light, Bill...smile

That rain seems to be just a thin veil Frank
Frank L Croston.: I think it was a snow shower Chris, hence that effect.

The contrasts here are compelling, Frank - they lead you right in
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elisabeth, I'm glad you like it, I had a good time taking these.

I know why you are now living in the States - because of the fascinating skies!
Frank L Croston.: Skies a plenty here, Philine, changing all the time.
The contrasts here make another dramatic scene in the series, in what timescales did you take all these images?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Martin, they were all taken in the space of roughly an hour, then the light went, and so did I...smile
I see precipitation Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Indeed you do, Andrew...

I currently am suffering from an inflamed heel tendon, but should be able to join you on this hill by Monday. Just stay and wait ...

Excellent light variations in this picture.
Frank L Croston.: Ohh, painful, Louis, hope it is better soon, I can hang on...smile Thank you.
Lots of depth in this excellent shot. The colour is incredible.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary, pleased you think so.
You picked a great composition for this one Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, glad you think so.
You got some good pics up there, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Tom, yes it was worth the trip.
