P51 Mustang

This one was taken at last years Valle show, but unfortunately it wasn't present this year, a shame because it is a great plane...."Cadillac of the skies!!!" For anyone who's seen 'Empire of the sun'

As I'm still....Arghh!  Having computer problems I may be late with replies for a few days, hopefully not.

Haven't you got a wedding to worry about in a week? Or have you made an escape plan? The Mustang is a classic. It's the last year of our Vulcan and I don't expect to get a chance to see it again.

Have you got a MacBook?
Frank L Croston.: I do have a wedding, but I'm not worrying about it, I've been told all I have to do is turn up, say a few words, then eat cake.....smile The Mustang, yes It is a classic, Alan. They used to build Vulcans near to where I lived, it was a regular thing to see them on test flights. Yes, I have a Macbook, I'm hoping to get it sorted out tomorrow.

An elegant weapon, Frank, and beautiful image of it.

My favourite weapon of this genre was the Spitfire.
Frank L Croston.: There was a Spitfire there, much to my surprise, like new....But it didn't fly, and I couldn't get a good shot of it. This of course has the same engine,as you say, an elegant plane, thanks, Ray.
One of my favourite warbirds Frank! Well done.
Frank L Croston.: Mine too, Richard, thank you very much.

I've just had a look at your series, Frank. They are wonderful shots.
Being "plane mad" I really appreciate them.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Pauline, I'm pleased you think so.
Good looking plane, it seems as though it might be a tad smaller than the Spitfire.
Frank L Croston.: It is, Brian, I think it is slightly smaller, same engine of course.
Fabulous picture of it with all that detail Frank. I have had trouble with computer demons too recently
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Janet, glad you think so. Well, fingers crossed, I'm hoping mines ok now, you just have to find the right guy it seems.
You give it a very metallic look here Frank.
Frank L Croston.: I used my Brasso program, Andrew...smile
