Canyon colours

From the south rim of the Grand canyon, you can just see

a glimpse of Colorado river, half way up on the right.

What a spectacle, Frank...even the trees are wondrous objects!
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Ray, not to be surpassed you would think...But this last weekend, we visited the North rim of the canyon, incredible.
Great shot of this wonderful place that helped bring us together, Frank... Oh! That's what you said... um - well it's just so true I'm leavin' it! smile And here's to planning many more visits to our little Heaven on Earth! XOX
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elizabeth, it is a special place, as we found all the more so this weekend. You want to go again!? smile X

The scale of this is just amazing isn't it Frank
Frank L Croston.: It is hard to comprehend, Chris, it's scale is vast....
Looks a grand place Frank. The order for skinless sausages has been cancelled for good.
Frank L Croston.: Words cannot describe it, Michael, this weekend we were at the North rim, it is even more spectacular! Oh, good, I'm glad to hear that, I have been thinking about you. smile

Your local park is much nicer than my local park wink It's the sort of place where I fidn it difficult not to trip over my lower jaw. Knowing you, I expect you were doing handstands right on the edge of the rim?
Frank L Croston.: My park is nice...It's not quite Stanley park, in Blackpool, but it'll do! No handstands! I would have been out on the platform here, but at the end of a five mile walk along the rim in the eighty's I thought better of it...smile By the way, if you get a chance, visit the North rim, it is magnificent, we never thought you could surpass the South rim for views, try to visit, Point Imperial, then drive to Cape Royal, stopping at the view points along the drive, including Angels window, make sure you have plenty of space on your memory card! smile
Quite spectacular Frank! Very nice composition.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Richard, spectacular indeed.

This draws you back again and again, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Well I'm glad, Elisabeth, thanks, this was taken towards the end of a five mile walk along the South rim, if I hadn't been so tired I would have climbed out onto those rocks, maybe next time. smile
I must say this might be my favorite of your shots of the GC. I like the green trees included - a bit of life. Beautiful!
Frank L Croston.: That's very nice of you, Mary, thanks.
It's just so spectacular, those trees are something else. You obviously gather I like this shot.
Frank L Croston.: I was getting your drift, Brian, thank you, always appreciated.
A wonderful composition Frank, of this magnificent place.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Janet.
It is impossible to take a bad picture of the Grand Canyon...
Frank L Croston.: You would have to work at it, Larry, I agree...smile
Ooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Fantastic Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bill...Thought you were playing the bagpipes there for a moment....smile

This is such a wonderful place. I can imagine you fell in love with the place. Never the same, 365 days different, year after year.
One day I hope to see this with my own eyes...
