Yep, the landscape in New Mexico is amazing...I'm from there so I'm a bit bias...
Frank L Croston.: Well you would be, Robbyne, rightly so,it has some amazing scenery, I hope we visit it again.
Fantastic way to present this, Frank!! Love it - and remember it well!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth, I'm glad you like it,yes, another fun road trip...smile

It is a brilliant image, Frank, and illustrates what insignificant ants we are.

If it was my shot [I wish!], I might have rejected the urge to use this frame as I feel it pulls this viewer's eyes off the horizon at the vanishing point of the blacktop.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ray, from one Ant to another, yes, I might have used a different frame...

Ray is right, this picture shrinks humanity & exposes the sheer scale of the place. A fine shot
Frank L Croston.: Oh, sorry, Chris, I really didn't mean to shrink humanity, honest..I just wanted to show the size of the place, now I feel like an evil mastermind....But glad you like the shot!
Not a road to test the cornering ability of your car on Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Not many are in this area, Bill, we just tie the steering wheel down and read a book....
the processing on this one is great
Frank L Croston.: I'm glad you think so, Chantal.
Crikey Frank, this looks like nowhere in New Mexico. Interesting treatment.
Frank L Croston.: You obviously know the place, Andrew, thanks.
Big Sky country...
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Mary.
Great expansive shot Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Janet.

Paris, Texas!
Frank L Croston.: Ha, ha, yes! I was listening to Ry Cooder, and watching for Harry Dean Stanton coming out of the desert, Philine...smile

and goes on and on and on I suppose.
Great shot Frank, it breathes Jack Reacher on one of his road trips, this is what I imagine when he does that in one of the novels.
Ah, the wide open spaces...
Mmm - I've been on roads like that - dangerously hypnotic!
