Without intending it, I just realised that except for Saturday, there is a theme of water this week, and even that one is a bit wet...

What an amazing find, Frank! I love how your processing has brought out such detail and color!
Frank L Croston.: One from quite a few years ago, Ell, up in the Lakes, I reprocessed it, thanks, I'm pleased you like it.
You framed your diamonds very well Frank... there seems to be motion of water flowing below the ice....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Peter, the temperature had risen just above freezing and water was flowing under it.

This is truly wonderful Frank. The frozen action of the ice and subtle greens make it an image to remember
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chris, I'm pleased you think so.

Heh, looking from that perspective, I also have a theme of water this week - since fog is also water smile

The colours in this one holds my attention.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Louis, look forward to yours.
I was not wanting to see ice again for a while but I will make an exception for this fine shot. The colour is great.
Frank L Croston.: Sorry about that, Mary...Thank you, I'm glad you like it.
what an amazing abstract
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chantal.
Are you making a statement about global warming with your title, Frank? One does wonder! In the meantime, we can enjoy the joy of such a sight.
Frank L Croston.: Oh, I'm not that deep, Ginnie...Glad you like it. smile

I really like how you have caught the movement of the water against the stillness of the ice
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Anne, I'm pleased you like it.

Despite looking at this for several minutes, I'm still not the wiser what I'm looking at! I'm assuming ice but still can't get my head round it. Makes me think of of 1970s LP cover from a prog rock band.
Frank L Croston.: It's just ice on a rock in a stream, Alan, seems like you need a holiday to me....smile Ah, prog rock...

This photo has the quality of a painting à  la Turner - we could in the Lakes, a waterfall I can remember.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Philine, it was a few years ago, in a place off the beaten track, lots of waterfalls.
