As weapons go, Frank, it is as elegant as a Japanese Samurai sword.

I am impressed by many aspects of your image, but especially the cloud reflections in the polished propellor knob.

smile
Frank L Croston.: It's a good comparison, Ray...Thanks, I believe the correct term is 'nose cone'...smile

I am in jigsaw mode at the moment, Frank - this would be a good subject for me
Frank L Croston.: I haven't done a jig saw since I was a kid...Life's complicated enough, Elisabeth.

"Well, hello, Dolly
It's so nice to have you back where you belong
You're lookin' swell, Dolly". These were a legend in their time. I like your editing here.
Frank L Croston.: Still are I think, Alan, thank you.
Dolly is one of the most beautiful warbird with the Spitfire Frank! I really like the way you processed this image.
Frank L Croston.: A great looking plane, Richard, thank you.
very well processed
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chantal.
I guess these were the American equivalent to the Spitfire and Hurricane. A very good image Frank, I like the hDR style finish to it.
Frank L Croston.: Pretty much so I think, Brian, in fact they used the same, Rolls Royce Merlin engine .http://www.defensemedianetwork.com/stories/p-51-mustangs-switch-to-merlin-engine-made-it-the-world-beater-of-world-war-ii/ Thanks.
