Condor & U.F.O.

I was shooting this Californian Condor from Navajo bridge over Marble canyon in Arizona U.S.A. There is less than a second in time between the two shots, in the top one you can see an object, in the bottom one it's gone. Whatever it was, it was moving incredibly fast, Elizabeth was shooting the same bird at the same time, she got the same, so it's not a camera thing, I have an open mind.....

On Ellie shot you can see a plane.
Frank L Croston.: It does look like a plane on Ellie's shot, I agree, but how did it move so fast? I was tracking the bird, didn't change position, and was shooting on rapid shutter....
Who knows? The government has all kinds of strange craft out West...
Frank L Croston.: Who does know, Larry, I have an open mind on it.
i see the spec and it is interesting... but the images of the condor are remarkable Frank....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Peter,it was a thrill to see them, we couldn't believe our luck.
great capture
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Chantal.

Probably some American military plane under test? I'm sure you have seen all sorts of restricted areas on US maps; Lord knows what they do there. The condor is fabulous.
Frank L Croston.: Could be, Alan, this area is pretty remote, the Condors were great, a thrill to see them.

AMAZING picture of the condor and at Elizabeth post, I said what I think of drones.
Maybe this drone is a bird watcher, however it also could be that it is hired by a private detective following somebody.....
And YES I see too many movies and YES I just finished reading Dan Brown's Digital Fortress (1998) and the book is so 2014......
In the end, absolute fabulous shots from the two of you, you must have been thrilled.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Astrid, I have to agree with your comments about the drones, there needs to be some restrictions on them....Someone always spoils what could be a great thing. Yes, seeing the Condors was such a thrill.
You got great shots of the condor. I see it has two tags, one on each wing.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mary, yes they were all tagged, they are part of the rehabilitation scheme around the Vermillion cliffs. We were lucky enough to see around four of them, at different times.

The Condor is niiiice...
Frank L Croston.: The Condors were great to see, Ray...But I'm an English folk....smile
Two very good shots Frank. Strange about that whatsit, on Elizabeth's it does look a bit like a light plane.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, yes it does, so who knows...Or cares! smile
It looks rather like a plane in Elizabeth's shots Frank but you both seem uncertain as to what it was. Lovely shots of the condor
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Janet, it was the speed of it that puzzled us, we didn't even see it at the time...
Military jet, I'd guess.
Frank L Croston.: Could be, Tom.
