It is a great shot, Frank.

I don't think the border was at all necessary.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ray, you've got me wondering now....
Ooooooh Ahhhhhh..... smile
Beautiful Frank - love the tree framing!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth, you are very kind, glad you like the trees!

Grandeur almost beyond description Frank
Frank L Croston.: You have to be there, Chris, it is truly magnificent. I never tire of going there, I'm so lucky.

Nicely framed from your vantage point, you don't get much more open than this.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mike, indeed not.

It's beautiful. I like the framing with the trees and the colours of the rocks. Was this from your trip when you were allowed to go out and play on the Canyon rim on your own?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Alan, I don't remember which trip it was...I don't think it was my solo one...smile
Oh wow, Frank. That is simply wonderful.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Pauline, I'm glad you think so.
Wonderfully composed shot, Frank. She sun and shadows always look great in these shots.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary.
wonderful, such a vast area
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Martin, it's difficult to convey the size of it.
very nice view Frank, you mean that hazy spot in the centre is a rainstorm?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ayush, yes, that's a rainstorm on the North rim.
This is very well framed, brings back memories for me
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chantal, I'm glad it does, I hope they are good ones.

To border or not to border, that remains the question. To me the question remains - so, that would mean a 50/50 decision as far as I am concerned. Which again could be interpreted as that the border doesn't contribute, which supports 'no border'. smile Doesn't matter, I am in awe of your canyon pics.
Frank L Croston.: If I was posting it again, Louis, I would leave the border off....smile Thanks very much, I'm glad you like them, I have more to come, and hopefully another visit soon...smile

And what an awe inspiring framing it is Frank. Fantastic scenery
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Anne, glad you think so.
One of your best, Frank... thanks for taking us there...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Larry...My pleasure. smile
Well I like the border in this instance Frank, it breaks the mould of seeing pictures of the canyon in books with nothing round it.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Brian...I do like borders, just in this instance I don't like it as much as when I posted it...smile
At least you can see the rain coming and run for it! Lovely scene, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Ha, true, Tom, Thank you .
