This is so fantastic, Frank - I love how you show the rain! It WAS pouring!!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth, I'm glad the rain shows, I suffered for it! smile
i can see the rain Frank... this would be a timeless classic shot if not for the paper cup of coffee in the engineer's hand....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: That's funny, Peter, the same thought crossed my mind, thanks.

I doubt if they will get wet in there - nice shot!
Frank L Croston.: It was probably the warmest place around, Chris. You can pay to travel on the footplate for a day, only a $1000.....smile

Raining? Oh, was it? wink It certainly shows up well in this. He's hoping that it's not quite time to go yet so he has time to drink his coffee. It looks like you've done some selective colouring here, such as the dullness around and the colour of the loco, of course.
Frank L Croston.: There were a few spots....I thought it looked like selective colouring as well,Alan, but no, all genuine....smile
Excellent shot here, Frank. Very well done.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Mary, I'm glad you like it.
The rain gives the metal a nice streaky look.
Frank L Croston.: I was streaky too, Jacquelyn, there was lots of rain...Thanks.
Another fine shot Frank, nothing you could do about the rain. Was your good lady somewhere undercover whilst you took this?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian,I'm not too sure, she was in the vicinity somewhere, probably undercover, she has more sense! smile
Great picture in the rain. I would love to see this in b&w
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Bill, apart from the engineer,it doesn't look much different.

The rain might wash his roof clean, heh!
Frank L Croston.: There was enough of it, Ray, a few times over! smile
