photoblog image The dark army

The dark army

This weeks theme is cars.

Built by the 'Dark army' chop shop. In a kind of 'Mad Max' style, just the opposite of all the highly stylized and painted custom cars, there were two of these at this show, in Williams, Arizona. Just as much work, and styling had gone into these cars though, I thought they were great.

You got a great shot of this, Frank! It's amazing how much work they put into these things! I look forward to seeing more of your car photos!

Oh yes - this really has been worked on Frank, you can tell that
Frank L Croston.: You had to see it really, Chris, to see the detail.
A great work was done on this car! Very nicely presented frank.
Frank L Croston.: It certainly was Richard, thank you.
Anyone who spends that kind of money on the tires alone tells you everything you need to know about the rest of the truck/car, Frank! smile
Frank L Croston.: Don't talk to me about the cost of low profile tyres! It's a sore point, Ginnie. smile

And what imagination, before even starting to design this, to see its potential
Frank L Croston.: It is great, it does show a lot of imagination to put it mildly, Elisabeth.
Do you think they would swop it for a D90.
Frank L Croston.: I've already tried that.....smile
cool car
Frank L Croston.: Yes it is.
What a great thing to come across, alternative creativity at it's best.
Frank L Croston.: I thought so too, Martin, fresh ideas.
Wonderful insanity! Just look at these wheels!
Frank L Croston.: A good description, Bill. Aren't they something ?
Mamma mia! Frank
Frank L Croston.: Exactly Juan Carlos!
Fabulous motor isn't it, so much work and money must have gone in to this. The bonus is the small boy thinking he'll have one of these when he grows up.
Frank L Croston.: It is indeed, Brian, you do wonder what they cost. The small boy is dreaming ok...smile

Great shot, Frank.

This chariot needs some corrugated iron mud-guards and them its good to go.
Frank L Croston.: That would fit, Ray...Good thinking!
