Great find Frank! A friend of mine used to have one of these in Madagascar many many years ago...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Richard, they are quite a car.
The father of a girl I went out with for a while back in the early 60's would have given an arm and a leg for one of these, smart looking motors.
Frank L Croston.: They were quite the thing back in the day, Brian.
Mom drove one of those--she loved it...
Frank L Croston.: I bet she did,they are a stylish car,Larry.
I remember them...restored that would be worth a bob or two
Frank L Croston.: I have no doubt, Bill, a classic.
A bit of beauty briefly came to VW with this design
Frank L Croston.: Oh, as a VW fan, I've had three so far, I have to disagree with you, Martin. smile
Worth a penny or two, I imagine. And Ry Cooder is one of my all time favs!

Looks like it's just used as a runabout. I wonder if the owner knows its worth? I like the chimneys on the house.
Frank L Croston.: I've seen it around,so you could be right,Alan, who knows? It is a smart chimney, yes.
