Black knight

Statue of Sir Laurence Olivier, on the south bank, I thought this was the best view...I didn't like it as much from the other side.

I might be late with any replies today,as I'm away for the day.

I often feel this way about statues, Frank. Anyway...you have a lovely backdrop!
Frank L Croston.: That was the reason, along with the cape, Ray, that I did it this way.
His strength as an actor shows thru on both sides...
Frank L Croston.: He was a great actor, a surprisingly small statue though, Larry.

That red colour makes a rather fiery and hot backdrop to this statue to a great actor Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Chad, glad you like the combination.
Sir Laurence Olivier! We just saw him last week in the old "Spartacus" movie (1960). One of your greatest actors of all time, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Yes he was, Ginnie, he wasn't in any' Westerns', so he didn't bother me...smile

The shine and textures on the statue are very good against the vibrant red.
