Powerful stuff Frank with those cloud topped hillsides rolling down to the water. I really like the silvery quality of this image

Wow- that's a dramatic, a great photo - but I miss the green and brown colours - the Lakes are a green land in my memory, sorry. Yes, the clouds there are mesmerizing!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Philine, I know what you mean about the colours, but I thought this suited b/w.
Very good Frank.

I love the way you have captured the weep of land up this mountain Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Chad, I'm glad you like it.
I think you are deserving of the name, Storm Chaser.
Frank L Croston.: I'll take that, Mary, better than storm causer...smile Thanks.

Quite interesting - the sun is shining on the hillside while the clouds are rolling in. Sometimes you have rain from a loose cloud, that results in rain while the sun is shining. We refer to it as a day for the fox and the hound to get married.
Frank L Croston.: I've not heard that expression before, Louis, I call them rainbow days.
furious and intensed Frank! love it
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Aderonke, I'm glad you do.

Now who wouldn't have liked to have been there to see this landscape looking like this, wonderful image Frank.
Frank L Croston.: You are right, Brian, good bad weather, can't beat it. smile
At a quick glance I thought that the surf was up! Great shot, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It might as well have been, Tom! smile
