I am quite relaxed about flare, Frank...and, the gorgeousness of the terrain is not lost.
i think you have turned the flare around and employed it to make this high contrast image even more effective
I think it captures it the way it should....dessert & sun

The sun is definitely blinding out there, Frank. Make sure you wear sunscreen, even in February now!
AMAZING!!! No more words needed

I hope you've got your lens hood with you now, and your shorts & sunblocker..

Or a polarising filter. You will need it when you often go to Arizona or move there permanently. In this case, I believe the flare actually enhances the pic.
Bit of flare doesn't hurt
nah, its looks better without the hood smile
In this case it doesn't really matter Frank, it adds to the picture.
Fine and vivid in b/w
Fantastic shot. The rays of sunshine in the b&w are really striking.
I think the flare adds something, Frank - leave the lens hood at home smile
but it gave you a wonderful sun flare to play with Frank... i like your treatment....petersmile
