It looks like you have partially posterised it, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: I tried it just to see the effect, Ray,and gave it just enough treatment to 'line' the edges, which I quite liked,so left it on.
This is absolutely stunning, Frank!!! I don't know what Ray is talking about... "posterised" - but this could easily sell as a poster! Goin' up on MY wall!!
Frank L Croston.: You flatter me,Elizabeth,I'm glad you like it though.Thank you.

Absolute fabulous....I love the colours and the faded distant colours.
You could easily make this into a poster on Elizabeth' wall wink
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Astrid, you never know...smile

I like all the different layers in this. What a beautiful view. Did you notice that once the sun had actually set, 99.99% of the people left? It suddenly felt very empty after that!
Frank L Croston.: Yes Alan,we did,it was quite funny to watch, like half hearted supporters leaving early at a football match, you could miss the best bit! Thanks.
Magnificent image Frank, I know about posterisation but haven't done it for years, but it worked well on those edges, and the best thing is that the main flat summit just right of centre breaks the skyline, definitely one of your best. Did you watch part two of the Dan Snow last night, they included one of those 'S' things, I wouldn't have slept there for all the money in the world, well perhaps I might have smile
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Brian,I gave it the minimum touch, just to get the lines on the edges. I watched the canyon thing, very good documentary, there would have been two of us clinging together, Brian,I could not have slept there. smile
very Artistic i must add!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Aderonke, much appreciated.
You capture the most stunning sunsets, Frank; this one being a prime example. Your treatment did the job brilliantly.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you so much,Beverley,I've been lucky to be in the right place a few times, thanks again.

this is epic... I wish I were there again...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Larry, well I hope to be there next month, depending on my tour manager. smile I hope to see some snow.
Lots of lovely depth to this Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,John,it's the right place for depth...smile
Lovely muted colour tones.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Martin,
With a sunset like that, in a location like that... failure would be impossible, but you've managed to make it special!
Frank L Croston.: I assure you,Tom,it wasn't...I have a few deletes to prove it. smile But I like to think this was ok,so thanks Tom.
