Great shot--evokes a colorful era...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Larry,a very short one I was surprised to learn.
Oh you did so well with this! Great detail, with a warm glow! Mine is just a jumble of colors that all run together!
I really love this statue - you get such a sense of the speed and determination these guys had! Even the placement of the front rider's hand on the side of the horse's neck is perfection!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elizabeth,it is a great piece of work, the detail is amazing, even a brand on the horse.
very well done. everything denotes speed and power in this shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ayush,I imagine that is what the sculptor was trying to achieve,he did a fine job.
I love the processing
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chantal.

Powerful stuff eh! Traffic roundabouts near where I live look a little different to this..
Frank L Croston.: Here too,Chris, there are some very nice ones in Morecambe, all portraying different types of birdlife. We have one at the end of the motorway that is good too.

If this is the center of a roundabout , it would be hard to keep your attention on driving.
Frank L Croston.: Yes it is, Mary,it wasn't very busy though, not a main road.
Lots of movement and speed in this image. Well taken.
Frank L Croston.: All down to the sculptor/artist, Jacquelyn, thanks.
THis is so intense!
Frank L Croston.: It's great isn't it?

I bet you always fancied being a cowboy Frank.
This is a fantastic statue regardless of where it has been placed, so much action going on in it.

The sums up one of the classic images I had of the Wild West when I was a nipper. Nothing like this in the sunny south of England.
This reminds me so much of Remington's work, Frank. What a wonderful sight to see at traffic roundabout.
Frank L Croston.: Me too,Beverley, very much that style, whilst thinking how great it was,it did seem rather wasted there.
